Dear Rykelan,

Month 3 brings us to our first videos of you! But first, the top 6 pictures of September 2021 show off your adorable smile, your first “painting the table with yogurt” moment, and a shot from your carseat after spending an hour at the playground.

We also visited my Grandma Carol for a family barbecue. Everyone loved you (how could they not - you were absolutely adorable and smiley and wonderful). During dinner, you sat on my cousin Jessica’s lap and ate the heck out of her corn on the cob. You were obsessed with that corn. Aunt Jean captured a photo that I saw for the first time recently. You were so small and sweet. Just look at how perfect those baby blues are.

Your laugh--and that little squeal--is so cute.

I love the way Lily protects you from Penny's rambunctiousness.

You loved to dance to music, but you never liked it when we sang along to the song.

When you were old enough to speak, you'd tell us to "stop that" when we'd sing to whatever music was playing.

I used to tell you that your dad and I were allowed to sing, but you did not believe me. 😅

I miss you, little love. Wherever you are now, I hope you are loved and safe and having the best time.
